WANTED: FACILITATOR/TRAINING OFFICER

Are you a qualified facilitator/trainer with a minimum level 3 in education and training qualification?

Do you have a high level of awareness of the challenges faced by people experiencing mental health problems and are passionate about improving people’s wellbeing and recovery?

With 29 years’ experience, Advance Brighter Futures (ABF) is a Wrexham based charity that provides support to the local community with their mental health and wellbeing. We are looking to recruit an exceptional individual who would enjoy the chance to make a real difference to people’s lives.

By filling the key role of Facilitator/Training Officer to oversee our training and education services, the post will offer a unique opportunity in the field of mental health and help maintain and develop our confidential, robust, and quality driven service. This is a part-time fixed term position of 25 hours per week until 31st March 2022 (extension planned subject to performance and future funding).

If you have:

• The experience of delivering/facilitating groups and courses (preferably within a mental health related area) both online and face to face…
• The skills to coordinate and support our facilitators and volunteers ensuring the service is delivered efficiently…
• The commitment to accurately record, monitor, and review the service in a confidential manner…
• The passion to learn and develop within the role and take up training opportunities…
• The confidence and skills to engage with and encourage participants to attend and complete courses and groups…
• The ability to prioritise workload, and form effective working relationships independently, as part of a team and in community settings…
• The enthusiasm to promote and advertise ABF’s services at all times…
